Residences
When first arriving, characters only have the option to stay at the hotel or to be homeless. A job is required for an apartment or house. A homeless character can technically squat in one of the many houses, condemned or otherwise, if they so choose but no amenities (like electricity or running water) will be provided to them. Just specify in your comment if you wish them to be homeless.
If you are willing to have a random roommate assigned in the hotel, state as much in your comment and it will stay as open permission until assigned or removed.
Homeless
- Olivia Blackwood (mostly found in the forest/woods or abandoned houses)
- Bucky Barnes
- Miles Matheson
- Charlie Matheson
- Hayley Marshall-Kenner

Provisional housing for those who first arrive. Looking as though it were built in the 1950's, this two-story hotel is incredibly cozy and comfortable. Single and double occupancy rooms are available. Each room comes with either one or two queen beds, a desk, a dresser, a radio, and a TV. There are always fresh towels and clean sheets, but no staff is ever seen.
The TV doesn't exactly work, as there is no TV stations to pick up. You might even get lucky and have a microwave and mini-fridge in their room. But that's as far as access to any sort of kitchen goes, unless you want to get your hands dirty in the kitchen behind the bar.
Outside, there is a patio with a fire pit for people to mingle. It has a plethora of seating available, covered and uncovered. Many rooms overlook this communal space, so if a party gets going you may not have much peace. There is a pool on site, but it appears to have been neglected for many years, nothing but rain water collecting on the bottom.

Ocean View Apartments

The only fully furnished, ready to move in housing apart from the hotel. Studio, one and two bedroom apartments are available. Appliances seem to vary from the 50's up through the modern. But TVs seem to have stopped before color was introduced. Apartments are automatically adapted to meet a characters' living needs. Sorry, units do not include washers or dryers.
However, a key to an apartment can be acquired once a character has a job. It has to be paid for somehow.

Houses
Houses appear to be all manner of styles. Most of the smaller ones are open and can be moved into, but are unfurnished at this time. They range from single room shacks with dirt floors to 2-3 bedroom modern affairs. There are even a few that could count as mansions. The larger the house the more run down it seems. While some only show the ravages of time, others showing the same natural disasters as the commercial places. Styles rage as much as anything else in town, but tend to lean toward styles meant to withstand brutal ocean storms.
